Today is already my third day in Shenzhen. I landed at Hongkong international airport on Wednesday and took a ferry to Shekou, which is just next to the Nanshan district, where the University is. In the evening I had my first chinese meal - delicious as expected!

After a long night of sleep I started my first real day in Shenzhen… I went to the University to finish my registration and for the class placement. The placement was really easy, because as she asked me something and I couldn’t answer I was put in the Beginner class. I also got my student card and my textbooks.

In the afternoon a local friend helped me to open a bank account and we also visited some apartments.

Today I visited a Shared Apartment in Shekou, where I took the bus for the first time. The bus is actually very convenient and I will for sure use it often! In the afternoon I visited several rooms in apartments close to the University. Later today I went again to the University to get my Campus Card, which is used in the library and the canteen.

The weather in Shenzhen is really hot (around 32°) and humid (70% humidity) but the forecast shows a storm for the weekend!
